Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy

At Hotels Dante, we understand that responsible tourism is key to building a more just, sustainable and prosperous future. As a company committed to excellence, we believe that our duty goes beyond offering a quality stay: we seek to generate a positive impact on people, the environment, and the local economy.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy is based on the following pillars:

Commitment to Human Rights and Diversity

  • We promote equal opportunities and reject any form of discrimination based on gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, age or disability.
  • We foster an inclusive environment for our guests, staff and collaborators, guaranteeing respect for the dignity of every individual.
  • We are committed to combating child labour, labour exploitation and any practice contrary to fundamental rights.

Ethical and Transparent Management

  • We act with honesty, professionalism and responsibility in all our relationships: with clients, employees, suppliers and the community.
  • We maintain transparent management of our operations and strictly comply with current legal regulations, regarding labour, fiscal and environmental matters.
  • We establish ethical channels so that employees or third parties can communicate irregularities confidentially.

Fair Labour Conditions and Staff Development

  • We encourage local and stable employment, opting for decent contracts and fair labour conditions.
  • We provide continuous training to our teams to improve their professional and personal skills.
  • We understand the balance between work and family life, and we encourage a healthy, respectful and safe working environment.

Commitment to the Local Community

  • We actively collaborate with social, cultural and educational entities in our local area.
  • We prioritise local suppliers and local products to contribute to the economic development of the community.
  • We support corporate volunteering initiatives and solidarity campaigns that respond to the needs of our surroundings.

Environmental Sustainability

  • We apply sustainability criteria in the management of energy, water, waste and material consumption.
  • We make efficient use of natural resources, favouring LED lighting systems, motion sensors and the reuse of textiles, among others.
  • We promote practices such as recycling, reducing the use of single-use plastics and the environmental awareness of our guests through signage and information in the rooms.
  • We participate in environmental certifications and programmes within the tourism sector (currently Greenkey - approx. date 2025/2026).

Actions

  • We use LED lighting, efficient air conditioning systems, and low-consumption water pumps.
  • We replace small-packaged amenities with anti-vandalism dispensers, reducing plastic waste.
  • We encourage sustainable practices in catering: use of reusable utensils, recycling and minimisation of food waste.

Responsible Tourism and Sustainable Experience

  • We promote tourism that is respectful of the cultural and natural environment of our destination.
  • We offer our guests authentic, sustainable local experiences that respect the identity of the location.
  • We inform and sensitise clients on how they can contribute to respecting the environment during their stay (for example, saving water).

Safety and Wellbeing of Guests and Employees

  • We guarantee conditions of safety, hygiene and health in all our facilities.
  • We comply with rigorous cleaning protocols, occupational risk prevention and emergencies.
  • We adapt to specific health regulations in extraordinary situations (such as pandemics), protecting the health of employees and visitors.

Continuous Improvement and Impact Assessment

  • We establish internal indicators to measure compliance with our social and environmental objectives.
  • We carry out periodic audits and reviews of our policies and procedures.
  • We maintain open channels to receive suggestions from employees, clients and collaborators, with the aim of continuous improvement.

Our Commitment

At Hoteles Dante, we believe that hospitality must be at the service of sustainable development.

This policy guides our daily decisions and reflects the firm commitment of our entire team to a responsible, ethical and supportive tourism model.
